SO TIRED
Just got back from work today. My feet are about to fall off, seriously. I worked 9 hours both Saturday and Sunday. The store is a complete mess because of how many people who were there.

Enough of that then, I'm glad I have the next three days off.

I almost forgot today was Christmas Eve. ^^; I was in the kitchen this morning when it hit me "Oh today is Christmas, wait wtf happened to December?!". It feels like the year went by so fast. I looked under the tree and there's three presents for me yay! But what I'm looking forward most to is the food! I have to help my mom cook later today when she gets back from work. We're making tamales this year, after I bugged her for a few hours though. She hates making tamales because they take forever to make. The masa alone takes two hours because you have to be constantly stirring it (that's my job, I hope my arms don't fall off). But we are not making those plain Mexican tamales that are dry and spicy. We always make the Guatemalan tamales with red sauce and pork wrapped in the banana leaves. I purposely skipped breakfast today so I'll be really hungry when they're finished. ^^;

OH BOY run-on sentences
Went to the doctor today to schedule my surgery to fix the bone in my nose. YOU SEE I have killer allergies so during my 19 years of life the bone in the nose began to skew off to the left to the point that I can only breathe through my right nostril. Because of this I have the habit of breathing through my mouth which in turn caused my teeth to become to crooked and my parents getting me braces for five years (however they are started to go crooked again because I keep breathing through my mouth). SO IN REALITY IT WAS MY ALLERGIES THAT HAVE CAUSED ALL THE SUFFERING IN MY LIFE. D:

Also, I finished this really awesome vector today. But what it will be used for is a secret.

It bothers me how more and more people think it's okay to use fanart and doujinshi in icons/graphics. What's worse is that they don't credit the artist but just say they found the image on 4chan.

Well I suppose the same could be said about using screencaps or manga scans, but that's a whole other argument for another day.

The girl who was supposed to come in after me didn't show up--5 other people didn't show up either. I worked 10 hours today with only one break and a quick 10 minute break after the store closed to wolf down my lunch. I just got home a few minutes ago and I'm going to bed now . When I wake up tomorrow I have to get ready for a 7 hour shift. I also wish that the stupid local news would stop talking about that stupid world series game (Rockies will lose because they suck), there's more important things they can talk about.

And what it up with those snapshot links everywhere? It's annoying.

Late college post
Holy crap there's a band called Huckleberry Finn, how awesome is that. They're Korean though so I don't understand a thing they say (and I don't even know what the name of the only song I have by them is...)

(don't really feel like putting this behind an lj-cut, it won't kill you to scroll past this on your friends page)

So I've been going to the University of Colorado at Denver for a good three weeks or so. It's not as bad as I imagined and I actually like the college atmosphere more than high school. As I expected there is a good amount of homework (though for me it's mostly notes, they aren't required but it helps me study).

Math For Liberal Arts
This class is pretty easy. It's mostly logic at this point and very much arithmetic. I was supposed to take College Algebra instead but math is my worst subject ever so I took the easier class. :P I got a 15/15 on the first quiz which makes me happy because I usually fail math tests.

Psychology I
Er...ya typical lecture class. We go to class and listen to a power point lecture while trying to madly scribble down notes since the teacher goes so fast and then leave (the professor lets us go when he finishes the lecture so we almost always leave early). I tried the first couple of time sto write down everything on the lecture but that's almost impossible so now I just try to write what the professor says that isn't on the power point and just copy the lecture from the .pdf he uploads to his website. We just had out first quiz last Wednesday over the first three chapters. I don't thing I did very well. It was multiple choice quiz and on almost half I wasn't too sure on my answer. Guess I should study more text time.

~*Lunch Time*~

So, I have this huge 4 hour break between classes. During this time I go lunch at the Tivoli where they have a food court with McDonalds, Subway, Taco Bell and some Japanese fast food place. I keep meaning to go to Subway so I can try to eat a little healthy but the line is always so LONG. So instead I end up going to the Japanese place and ordering a huge bowl of expensive teriyaki chicken. Seriously I spend $7 and I have yet to finish the entire thing because they pack so much rice in it. I tried to save the food I didn't eat once but I just made my backpack smell. I need to figure out a way to bring my own food because eating fast food twice a week is going to make me fat eventually.

So after lunch I go to library and do homework. The library is freakin huge. I used to like to find the most isolated couch at the furthest corner but then I found out that hobos like to hang out there so I just on the second floor where they have desks.

FYS: The Human Animal
This is one of those first year seminar things. It isn't related to my major or anything but the counselor encouraged everyone to take one of these classes. It's an anthropology class so we talk about monkeys and monkey sex. It's pretty interesting so far I guess. We already have a project due and I'm doing mine on Infantcide in Human Males. Sounds cruel but I wanted to pick a subject that wouldn't bore me...

Core Composition I

Oh god this class is awesome. The professor never shuts up and likes to bring in bobble heads from his collection. All we did last class was watch clips from Lone Ranger and Shane. The only work we've done is small quizzes over the reading he assigns from the book. The textbook is also pretty awesome compared to others (it's very casual and has lots of pretty pictures~). I've done horrible on the quizzes though because he likes to assign 40+ pages and I always end up skimming and not retaining most of the information. And yay there's no literature in this class! I think I've had a enough of that since that AP class...

-----------------------------------------------
Work still sucks. I'm so sick and tired of Ross. I don't even want to shop there even though I have discount card. I guess it's just certain people that shop there that get on my nerves...you know the kind of people that go in the fitting rooms with eight pieces of clothing and bring it back to you in a wrinkled pile instead of on the hangers...

I kind of miss my old job because it was just me at my station, I did not have to associate with the workers around me because I was always busy. I would have liked to stay there (the pay was much better) but they don't offer part time.

WTF IS THIS SHIT?!
I though a part-time schedule would be like >20 hours, not 32 hours! Fuuuuuck I'll have no time for nothing next week expect work, homework, sleep and maybe eating if I can find time to do that.

Just got back from another crappy day at work. Tomorrow is my first day at UCD and I'm freaking out. If I somehow manage to survive tomorrow (I'm there from 10 AM to 6:45 PM, god help me) I'll post about my classes.

I feel like my toes are about to fall off, and the inside of the fingernail is bleeding. God I hate working. And I have to again tomorrow. Ugh. I thought I was going to work, you know, part time but I'm scheduled to work everyday except Monday and Wednesday next week (the days I go to school orz). At this rate I'm going to be too tired to work on any of my sites when I get hope and that makes me sad.

Today I went in 4PM so I missed the 2chan Gurren Lagann and Precure threads. D: The torrent is going so slooooow. I can't even watch the new episodes on nico because my account doesn't work anymore (lol maybe they found out I was a foreigner and deleted my account).
