Someone give me money plz  
Whiling driving to work I passed a really bad car accident. The ambulance was leaving but I could see blood on the road which was upsetting.

On a brighter note I spent almost $100 today buying my first doujinshi. Oh no wait, that's bad. I swear I'll never spend this much on such an impulse buy. But seriously, now I know how people spend thousands of dollars on this hobby. Doujinshi is flippin expensive, unless you live in Japan and don't have to pay shipping.

Gahhh, that's terrible about the car accident. I hope no one is that hurt...

Where'd you buy your doujinshi? I saw the ones on JPopQueen (still am kind of wanting to buy some KouKou Digimon doujinshi) and they were less than $10. Though, the rarer some are, the more expensive they are. I remember wanting some of Trouble Tamers' doujinshi and the special-ordering person charged me $20 per doujin. I ended up not buying them.

I got mine from Mandarake. I heard good things about JPopQueen, but they didn't have much to offer for the series that I was looking for so that's why I bought from Mandarake. I also got one from ebay which was so lucky because I had never seen that particular doujin in any online store (the description said the person bought it directly from the artist's website). xD

Oh and doujin is even more expensive if you buy from Yahoo Auctions with a shopping service (since so many sellers don't ship overseas).

Ick, that sounds awful. Reminds me of an accident I saw in my area about ten years ago ('cept there were body bags, tons of broken glass, and a helicopter). Hope everything went well for them too.

From what I've seen, doujinshi can get reaaallly expensive. Back when I tried to find some stuff by my favorite artists, I realized I'd be blowing off paychecks just because of shipping costs (not to mention rarity of the item).

Wow that accident sounds awful. :(

Shipping is what makes is so expensive I think. If the package weighs too much you spend half of your total amount on just shipping.
