If you ever missed a call and you don't recognize the number do you call back? My logic is that if they didn't leave a message then it wasn't an important call in the first place. Yet just now at work some guy calls and is all like "Did you call me? Who is this?!?!" He was pretty mad and I was almost screaming at him over the phone until I realized how dumb the whole thing was in the first place and just hung up. :X I get this all the time at work which is why it annoys me so much. Usually after I try to call a driver they don't pick up their phone until hours/days later and see they have a missed call, then they call me demanding "How did you get my number?!!". Well gee how am I supposed know. We call so many people a day it's not like I keep track. In fact I don't think any business does so its pointless to call back to a number you don't know and ask "Did you call me?". Ugh.

Can't believe I forgot to tell you guys about this! On the weekends I watch movies with my parents after dinner. They're usually bad movies because my dad has bad taste. He buys them from this hair salon we go to, the lady there sells burned copies for $5 each. Me and my mom tell him it's a rip off but he doesn't seem to care. Anyway, he had picked out Transporter 2 to watch (ugh) but instead some hardcore lesbian porn comes on. Oops. And for the record he didn't return the movie. The next day I was joking and asked if he finished watching the movie and he told me that the actual movie started about 10 minutes in and the guy that burned them just made a mistake.

I couldn't get Photoshop CS to work on my laptop this morning so I dug out my ancient Paintshop Pro 7 disk from the basement. I can't really do anything with it now since I don't have a mouse but it was kind of nostalgic. I'm trying to remember where I used to get all my brushes from though. I found Magitek Designs and Vbrush but that's it (eh even back in the day not many people made PSP brushes to begin with just PS). And my scanner isn't working, just when I need it the most. :(

...I'm kind of not looking forward to my vacation. Already my mom is starting to complain and stress out about things because of money. I'm tempted to ask her to just cancel the hotel reservations because I know it'll just get worse when we get there and all she'll talk about is how we don't have money for this and that. She also wants to go there for a whole freaking week which is way too long. 3 to 4 days is fine with me. She already told me we can only go to Knotts and the zoo since that's all she has money for. I'm the one buying the plane tickets so I don't want to have to spend extra money for us to go anywhere else since it was her idea for us to go (I offered to take just her somewhere out of the country though, I'm tired of going to California almost every year). But I get the feeling she's just waiting for me to give her money so we can go to other places. I really don't want to the spend the rest of time at homes of relatives just sitting around. I'm not close to my family at all so whenever we go they can just ignore everyone but my mom while me and my siblings just watch TV or something. Nothing is really set yet so maybe I can just tell her what I'm thinking to avoid any bigger arguments later on.

I also got a new cellphone today. I already knew what phone I wanted before I got there but they didn't have the specific color I wanted. :( I ended up getting the nokia 7510 which seemed nice at first but now the inside is starting to bug me because its so shiny and metallic that it collects a ton of fingerprints and grime since the dumb customer service guy took off the plastic sticker cover. You can change the color of the covers but it's kind of useless since the only nice one is the brown color. Also the little loop thingy is way too tiny which makes it difficult to put in my kawaii cellphone straps. >:( The 2 megapixel camera is nice though, but I don't like how there isn't a separate button on the side to access it like my old phone had.

Happy 4th to all you Americans. I heard some places were too poor for fireworks this year. My town was okay though, the usual fireworks show at the municipal court still happened. I went with my mom and brother early in the evening to find a good spot but when the fireworks started our view was still obstructed by trees and streetlights. We also couldn't leave early to beat the traffic because a ton of people suddenly showed up when the fireworks started. Parking was long gone by then so people just started parking their cars right there in the middle of the street. It took over an hour to get home because people just weren't moving. The neighbors a few streets away are also going crazy with the fireworks so it's like I get to see two shows in one day. Too cold and rainy for bbq this year unfortunately.

Also, Universal is going to make an Astroids movie. What is wrong with Hollywood that they're starting to make movies from games that don't even have a plot? Besides there's already an Astroids movie, it's called Armageddon. But I have to admit, a Candyland movie would be amazing. If you disagree you are in denial.

Going through my older journal entries is so embarrasing. I'm thinking of deleting them all because I can't stand them. I'm not a whiny person, it's just that I mostly come to this journal to complain. Maybe I should become like those people that document everything that goes on in their lives.

The tagging system here brings out the perfectionist in me. I'd hate to have a million tags that only have one post assigned to them, yet I want every post to have specific tags. Uggghh.

I hate when this happens. I spent so much money buying used copies of Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2 from eBay last month but I just found out today that Atlus re-released those games along with SMT Nocturne and they're going for $29.99 brand new on Amazon. The ones I got were all crappy too but it was the best I could find. ;o; I haven't even gotten around to playing DDS 1 all that much because I've been busy with Persona 4 and Devil Summoner. I wonder is there's a chance I can sell the used copies I have, I'd rather have new copies.

But really it's nice not having to see all those ads now. I really want to change to my username too because it's too cutesy and I want all those annoying vk fangirls to stop messaging me (Berry Bell also happens to be some shitty vk band but they still manage to have all kinds of fangirls).

I also put in my slip to get my vacation! Hopefully I get it, I've been here a year already and only missed one day. I come in on time and several times I've come in earlier so the first shift lady can leave early to take her kid to the doctor. My mom talked to me earlier about wanting to go to California. She still doesn't have a job so we can pretty much leave whenever, it was just depending on if I can get time off or not. Even if she ends up changing her mind and not wanting to go (there is still a high chance for this, it happens all the time) I'll at least get a whole week off to play more vidya games.

Whatever happened to ice cream trucks? Maybe it's just the area I live in but I haven't seen one in years. Sucks because I was craving some today since it was so drat hot.

Holy crap you guys Michael Jackson died. :( Sure he was creepy as hell but at least his music was catchy.
